In an office environment, the DBC410 can be programmed to adjust the lighting level to within workplace regulations. Lighting levels can be kept constant throughout the day, thereby improving worker productivity and saving energy. As part of a larger lighting control network, lights are turned off automatically in unoccupied areas after hours.
The DBC410 is particularly suited for applications requiring precise workspace lighting levels. Using the DyNetŪ universal sensor, the light output can be automatically adjusted to compensate for changing ambient light levels. In a flight control tower environment, radar screen contrast is kept constant using this method.
The DBC410 is often used as a 4 channel, 10A per channel relay controller. It can be used to control water valves, motors and a variety of switched devices.
