LSC Lighting Systems P/L also contributed to Lightmoves' training program this week, with LSC Marketing Director Alan Graham reviewing the entire LSC range. With the entire LSC range having been updated there is now no product design older than 3 years, ensuring the latest advances in technology and protocols is incorporated into all LSC equipment.
Once again the training extended well beyond the issues of product features and benefits to a detailed explanation of components, design philosophy, installation and maintenance issues and evolving industry standards. In addition to DMX splitters, touring dimmers and installation dimmers, Alan introduced the MAXIM console. The Maxim is a powerful and economical lighting console that has built upon LSC's long history in console design. The moving light control functions contained in the Maxim PaTPAD were remarkable in their sophistication ease of use, and heralds a new era in Australian lighting control.
Having been impressed by Alan's overview of the Maxim, Lightmoves is planning an operational training session on the Maxim next time including a lighting rig of conventional and automated fixtures. Our thanks go to Alan Graham for joining us in our training program and we look forward to seeing him again soon.
