Lightmoves’ association with award winning projects has continued, with three of their recent projects receiving awards at the illustrious 2006 Master Builders Association Awards for Building Excellence.
Walton Constructions won the award for Excellence in Construction of a Commercial Building $5M - $10M, for their work on the Alfred Felton Hall at Melbourne Grammar. Architects for the job were Peter Elliott Architects, with Denis Irving from theatrical consultants Entertech designing and specifying the theatrical services. Lightmoves supplied Lighting and Sound infrastructure and equipment to the auditorium.

Kane Construction took out the award for Excellence in Construction of a Commercial building $10M - $15M for the Dandenong Town Hall Redevelopment, Drum Theatre. The impressive venue was designed by William Ross Architects with theatrical design from Denis Irving from Entertech. Lightmoves supplied Lighting Control, Lighting and Sound infrastructure as well as LED decorative lighting in both the auditorium and Front of House.

Finally, the award for excellence in Civil Construction went to Abigroup for the Craigieburn Bypass, Hume Freeway. Lightmoves were involved in the now iconic LED wall engineered by Webb Australia and designed by landscape architects Taylor Cullity Lethlean in collaboration with local artist Robert Owen.
