Victorian Diamond Traders - Highpoint Shopping Centre
Victorian Diamond Traders recently opened a new store at Highpoint Shopping centre. When it came time to design the overall lighting plan for the store, Wayne Fawke of Chroma Lighting Pty Ltd was contracted to complete this task. Part of the brief included 'something a little different' to highlight the different diamonds and jewellery that come and go through the store over time.
Having worked with them in the past, Wayne approached Lightmoves to provide the client with a solution. With each cabinet regularly changing its contents inside, lights were needed that could change and adapt to the type of diamond in the case.
For overall cabinet lighting, Lightmoves supplied Digilin Ultra Bright White LED strips, which are attached to the very top corner of the cabinet. However, directly underneath these strips are Digilin RGB LED strips, which run off a Digilin RGB manual controller. This allows the store owners to change the brightness or colour of the strips to accommodate whatever diamond happens to be inside the display cabinet.
